1. If after turning on the instrument, LCD screen does not display and cooling pump does not work, you must check the electric fuse.
2. If power supply works normally, but the output energy density of therapy head decreases. The end surface of light-guiding crystal should be cleaned with absorbent cotton and alcohol.
3. A slight decrease of energy density is a normal phenomenon when the operating time is over one year or longer.
4. The life span of the light source is 80,000 flashing times. After 80,000 flashing discharge, it is necessary to replace with a new photon emission lamp to avoid influencing the therapy effect. The replacement work should be carried out by trained professionals or deliver the therapy head back to producer for replacing.

1. Please read this user’s guide thoroughly before installing or using the instrument. It is necessary to act on the operational procedures in this booklet.
2. During operation, the operator must wear the protecting glasses to prevent eyes from direct shining by output light.
3. When changing the therapy state from skin rejuvenation to hair removal or vice-versa, please make sure to press STAND-BY key first, and then press the change-over key: otherwise it may lead to unrecovered damage of the instrument.
4. The instrument has a built-in water-cooling system; because of high output energy we still recommend that a continuous therapy operation does not overpass 60 minutes (especially in summer). Every time after finishing work, press pre-ignition button to shut down pre-ignition, and let the instrument continue running for one minute to dissipate heat completely. Then shut down power supply.
5. In case of many customers to be treated, it is recommended to keep the instrument on STAND- BY state when changing customers. This method will prolong the lifespan of the light source.
6. Always keeps the therapy head downwards and place it in a clamp stand.
7. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated place. Once the work is over, cover the instrument with a dust shade. Avoid shaking during moving.
8. Routine maintenance is needed.

When the instrument is out of order, in general, you can examine the fault and fix it as mentioned above. If you can’t cure the fault, please call the producer and wait for suggestions.

Dismounting Steps

1. Pull out the plug of power supply.
2. Counterclockwise rotate the joint cap, which connects the therapy head and the machine body through a corrugated pipe. Please notice that the pin clamp of the
   joint cap must coincide with the pin on the joint socket of the machine body. Then
   you can remove the joint cap from the machine with medium force.
3. Be careful to let the cooling water drain out completely.
4. Unscrew two screws on one side of the therapy head, then you can remove the side cover of the therapy head with hand.
5. You can see there are two electric wires .one is red color and another is black,
   connected to the two poles of the xenon lamp. Draw off the insulating pipe and
   find the soldered point, then solder the point apart with a 30W or 60W soldering
   iron.
6. On the two poles of the xenon lamp, there are two screws respectively, unscrew and remove them. Then take down the fixing plates from two ends.
7. Push the lamp tube from one side and take down an O-ring, then push the lamp tube from the other side to take down another O-ring. At this stage, you can take out the lamp tube.

Mounting Steps

1. Please notice the positive and negative pole of the xenon lamp. Red wire is
   positive and black is negative.
2. Put the lamp tube into the lamp cavity, then put the O-ring on both end of the
   lamp tube respectively.
3. Please notice the position of O-ring must be in the circular slot, and cover with
   fixing plate. Screw the fixing plate to the lamp cavity with two screws. The screw
   force must be even and tight to avoid water leakage from the O-ring.
4. Solder the electrical wire joints together according to the color respectively, and
   draw on the insulating pipe to avoid shortcut circuit.
5. Cover the side cover of the therapy head, and screw on the two screws. The lamp changing is finished.
6. Connect the joint cap of therapy head to the machine body by turning the outer
   ring of the joint cap clockwise. Please note: don't let any water contamination
   within the cap and socket to avoid electrical leakage, or danger.
7. At this step, you can switch on the machine and have a trial run.
   

Cleaning Steps of the Lamp Cavity

1. Take out the lamp tube according to the previous dismounting steps.
2. Clean the lamp tube (if necessary) and lamp cavity with soft cotton bar soaked with a little alcohol. In general, when the lamp tube is changed, it is better to clean the cavity at the same time to improve a better light output.
